Juniata hangs tough but falls to Rockets
THREE SPRINGS – The Southern Huntingdon Rockets topped a scrappy Juniata team Saturday 52-46.
Leading the way for the Indians were Jacob Condo with 12 and Jace White with 10 in the loss.
The Rockets were led by Riley Snyder with a game-high 17 and teammate Dawson Booher who netted 11.
In the first, the Rockets got out to a quick 18-6 advantage.
However, the Indians battled back to chip into the Southern lead outscoring them 12-11.
Juniata continued with the momentum into the third quarter and posted a 17-13 advantage in the period, making it a 42-35 game going into the final stanza.
But the Indians comeback would fall just short as the two tied each other in scoring at 11, giving the Rockets the 6-point victory.
