Lady Red Raiders offense continues to roll

BELLEFONTE- The hits keep coming.
Playing against a tough and dangerous Central team, the Red Raiders Softball team brought out the bats as they defeated the Dragons 10-2 in front of the Home crowd Thursday.
Pitcher Lexi Rogers had another strong outing as she went the distance and scattered four hits in the contest en route to the victory.
Bellefonte got on the board first, playing two runs in the third.
However, in the top of the fourth, the Dragons tied it up with two runs of their own.
From there, the Lady Raiders added four runs in the bottom of the inning.
From there its defense stood tall and refused to allow another run the rest of the way while its offense played one in the fifth and three in the sixth to capture the victory.
Leading the offensively for Bellefonte was Taylor Kerr as she went 3-for-3 with two singles and a Home run along with 3RBIs.
Mallorie Smith went 2-for-3 with 3RBIs to spark to offense. Smith highlighted her night with a single and a double.
Central’s Cam Feathers went long for her second home runs in as many games in a losing effort. Feathers 2-run shot scored Ashley Padula for her teams only runs.
