Local Special Olympians compete in bowling invitational

The day has finally come.
Early Saturday morning, the lights were on at Ney’s Bowling Center and the athletes for the Mifflin/Juniata Special Olympic bowlers were ready for action.
In its first invitational under the New Mifflin/Juniata board of directors, the morning consisted of 17 bowlers bowling for nothing more than a chance to move on to State Sectionals that will be held in April.
The group of locals from the area rolled three games and ribbons were handed out afterwards.
