MC drops contest to Cedar Cliff

Tough night on the diamond.
The Mifflin County baseball team’s offense could not get on track Friday night as it fell to Cedar Cliff 4-1 on the road.
Cedar Cliff’s Denny Snyder got the win as he went the distance, allowing one run on seven hits.
Drew Westover took the loss for the Huskies. Westover allowed four runs on four hits.
Cedar Cliff plated a run in the bottom first.
Mifflin County tied the contest in the top of the third.
With one out, Max Oburn singled to get things going.
Jared King sacrificed Oburn into scoring position.
Brian Yetter’s single brought in Oburn, knotted things at one.
But that would be the only runs Mifflin County would be able to get a Cedar Cliff would add three more runs and take home the victory.
With the loss, Mifflin County drops to 7-10 overall and 5-7 in Mid-Penn action.
