MC field hockey ends season on winning note
CARLISLE – The season came to an end Wednesday for the Mifflin County field hockey team as they went up against Carlisle on the road.
Mifflin County went out on a winning note besting Carlisle 2-0.
In the first half, Mifflin County got a goal by Kortlin Yetter at 17:46.
In the second half, the Huskies got a goal by Lydia Hidlay at 25:14.
Goalie Coletta Beeler had five saves.
In the Junior Varsity contest the two tied as Mifflin County and Carlisle failed to score.
The Huskies ended the season overall at 6-11-0 with a Mid-Penn League record of 4-8-0.
