MC girls fall Thursday to tough Wildcat team

The Mifflin County Girls soccer team had another tough night as they fell to Mechanicsburg 7-0.

Leading the way offensively was Halle Engle, who had two goals in the win.

Engle and teammate Elena Hinkson had the first two goals, one at 4:20 while the other was 8:51.

Hinkson scored off a pass from

Halle Engle at 12:52, making it 4-0.

Lily Eckroth kept things going with a goal at 17:16.

Elena Hinkson off a pass from Lauren Costello again put the Wildcats back on the scoreboard 59:54.

Rounding out the day was Desirae Hanson from Halle Engle at 68:44 and Madison Michelitch at 75:32.

Mifflin County was outshot by the Wildcats 14-3.

Mifflin County led in corner opportunities 4-2.

MC goalie Maddison Finkenbiner had seven saves while

Mechanicsburg’s Arriel Frey had three.
