Mifflin County track split against Central Dauphin

It was a great day for competition as the Mifflin County Track and Field Team hosted Central Dauphin.  On the girls side, Mifflin County lost a tough battle 87-63.  It was a huge day for Sophomore Ella Spriggle as she took home gold twice winning the 100 hurdles in a school record 15.43, and a Sophomore record 46.29 in the 300 hurdles.  Other winners include Skylar Ciccolini in the high jump (4’10”), and javelin (146’0”), Lauryn Kuykendall in the 800 (2:38.32), and Joy Galbraith in the 3200 (12:42.05).  

On the boys side, the Huskies came out on top 81-69.  Coming up huge for the boys was Chayce Macknair.  Chase won the 1600(4:44.13), the 800(2:07.69), the 3200(10:17.62), and he teamed up with Seth Phillips, Brayden Harris, and Chase Shaeffer to win the 4×800 relay(8:22.10).  Also winning their events for the Huskies were Ethan Andrews 110 Hurdles(18.07), Joe Yearick in the pole vault(10’6”), Seth Phillips in the 400(52.09), Logan Renninger in the Discus(119”1”), Jayden Jackson in the long jump(17’2”), and Caden Kauffman’s triple jump of 35’9” was also good enough for gold.
