Mount Union tops Tyrone in Friday afternoon contest

The Mount Union baseball team ended the week on a high note, topping Tyrone 13-4.

Offensively, the Lady Trojans pounded out 17 hits on the afternoon.

Tyrone took the lead in the first, posting three in its first at bats.

Mount Union  battled back as it opened the game with a 9-run bottom of the first inning.

With the lead, Mount Union added four more in the second and held on for the victory.
