Penns Valley notches win over Huntingdon

MILL HALL – Penns Valley hurler
Kendra Bumgardner helped her team to a 9-4 victory Wednesday night against Huntingdon.
Bumgardner tallied seven strikeouts and a walk in the victory.
Taking the loss for the Bearcats was Catherine Miller. Miller had two strikeouts, seven walks, and one hit batter.
The Rams scattered eight hits and committed one error in the contest.
  Lydia Collison led the way with three singles, double, stolen base, two runs scored and 2 RBIs.
Teammate Kaylah Thompson finished with a stolen base and run scored.
 Bumgardner helped her own cause as she picked up a double, run scored and an RBI.
Others having a good night at the played were Ryleigh Cain(double), Allie O’Brien(run scored), Ryah Thompson (run scored), Caroline Collison (2 RBIs, run scored), Dayna Brown(single), Jordan Anderson (single, run scored) and Cheyanne Wolfe (pinch runner) run scored.
Penns Valley scored four runs in the first two innings while holding Huntingdon to just one.
The Rams put the game away in the bottom of the fourth where they scored five runs en route to the victory.
