PV girls take D6 title

It was an historical day for the Penns Valley girls cross country team as it won the Mountain League title for the second year in a row.

The Rams clinched the contest Wednesday after a lightning postponed the race from Tuesday.

Leading the way for the Rams was Alyssa Limbaugh, who finished in first with a time of 21:29.

Penns Valley picked up the first four top spots en route to the victory.

The final score was the Penns Valley girls 16, Bald Eagle Area 41.
