Red Raiders defeat Huskies in jh soccer action

The Bellefonte Girls Soccer team defeated the Mifflin County Huskies on Tuesday night 3 – 1.

 

The first goal of the game came when Mallorie Smith found a wide open Harley Stahlman who tapped it into the net.

 

The score stayed 1 – 0 until Mallorie dribbled passed several defenders and placed the ball perfectly in the side netting.

 

Mifflin County picked up the pressure and netted a goal before Kara Bates found Ashley Bell with a great through ball and Ashley squeezed it passed the goalie to put the game out of reach.

 

With the win, the Lady Raiders are now 7 – 3.  They play at Central Mountain on Wednesday night.
