Our BEA Eagles won their District 6 quarterfinal playoff match tonight against Cambria Heights, with game scores of 25-9, 25-15, and 25-17.

The Eagles hit .277 on the evening, led by Lacee Barnhart’s .385 hitting percentage with 7 kills. Grace Hugar hit .321, with 11 kills. Taylor Kilmer added 8 kills.

At the service line, Elita Brown tallied 5 aces and Lexi Skripek added 3. Skripek added a team high 14 digs as well. Madison Rockey led the offense with 32 assists to go along with her 3 blocks. Katelyn Smitchko had 3 blocks and 4 kills.

The Eagles advance to the District 6 semi-final round on Thursday where they will face last year’s district final opponent, West Shamokin. West Shamokin defeated Tyrone in the quarterfinal round, 25-20, 25-21, and 25-15.
