St. Joes boys fall to Penns Valley
Saint Joseph’s home opener against Penns Valley started with both teams finding their offensive rhythm in the first quarter. Saint Joseph’s took an early 18-17 lead behind Noah Straub’s two three pointers and eight opening quarter points from Brendan Scanlon.
Penns Valley grabbed the lead in quarter 2 however with a 13-7 advantage. Penns Valley led 30-25 at half.
In the second half Logan Snyder (21 points) and Zach Bracucht (22 points) established themselves inside for the Rams.
Penns Valley ultimately came away with a 69-53 victory.
Brendan Scanlon led Saint Joe’s with 21 points. Aidan Cross added 13. The Wolves fall to 0-4 on the season. Next game: Tuesday, Dec. 17th against Williamsburg.
