State College LAX back to winning ways; tops Trinity

The State College girls lacrosse team got back to its winning ways Thursday as they topped Trinity 25-8.
With the win, the Little Lions ups it’s Mid-Penn record to 2-0 and it’s overall record of 4-2.
Picking up goals in the contest we’re Emily Hall (5) , Elaina Ohlson(5), Sally Stahl (4) Carissa Tambroni (1), Alyssa Dunlap(2), Caroline Paterno (2), Tyler Hollowell (2), Lizzie Paterno (1), Sydney Washell( 1) and Jamie Bachman (2).
Goalie Emilee Engle finished the afternoon with four.
State College will be back in action Saturday at home against Kennett.
In the JV contest, the Little Lions shut out Trinity 12-0.
Goals for State College were by Kesera Wein (1) , Natalie Kissell (2), Anne Collins (1), Maddie Tambroni (3), Zoe Brown (1), Colleen Jones (1), Alina Muroski (1), Ariana Angus (1) and Lizzie Paterno.
