Susquenita tops Lady Tigers

It was a tough outing for the East Juniata girls field hockey team Thursday as the Tigers fell to Susquenita 7-1.

In the first half, Susquenita got the scoring started when the group got goals from Evin Fisher, Taylor Clouser, Clouser, Alexis Kauffman, and Clouser.

In the Second Half, Susquenita’s Regan Horting and Clouser picked up the final goals.

East Juniata ‘s Laney Dowling scores off an assist from Bralynn Clouser at 4:45.

Susquenita finished tops I. Shots on goal by a 15-1 Margin.

The Tigers next game is Saturday, September 29th at Newport at 12:30.

“The girls played good tonight. It took some time for the girls to get into the rhythm of playing, but they got into it then,” East Juniata coach Harley Straub said. “The girls had a better second half where they were more aggressive and started going to the ball a little more. We had our chances, and were able to capitalize one time. We are going to get ready to play Newport on Saturday”
