They win again. EJ girls two for two on week

Two-for-Two.

After starting the week with a win on Monday, the East Juniata girls basketball team got another win Tuesday.

This time the Lady Tigers defeated Halifax 32-23.

Leading the way offensively for East Juniata was Alyssa Hibbs with 15.

Halifax got a team-high seven from Montana Paul.

After one quarter, the Tigers held onto a 3-point advantage at 9-6.

Leading things was Hibbs with all nine points.

East Juniata continued to outscore Halifax in the second, this time it was a 13-7 advantage.

Going into the intermission, EJ led 22-13.

Halifax got the upper hand in the third as it posted an 8-6 advantage, setting up the final quarter as a 30-19 EJ lead.

The final stanza proved to be much of the same as the Lady Tigers went onto the win.
