Trojans 10-run Glendale in Home contest

The Mount Union baseball team scored fast and furious Thursday as they took it to Glendale 11-1 at home in a 5-inning affair.

Picking up the win on the night was Tyler Renninger. Renninger went the distance, scattering four hits and struck out six.

Mount Union pounded out 13 hits on the afternoon.

Leading the way was Matt Harshbarger, who went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Grayson McClain, Dylan Gearhart, Quinton Posey and Ethan Carbaugh all had two hits on the day.

In the first, the Trojans posted four runs, taking the early lead.

They added six more in the fourth and finally one in the fifth, ending the game via the 10-run inning rule.
