West Perry tops feisty Mifflin County Girls

In Saturday action, the West Perry girls came out scoring five goals as they topped a young Mifflin County team 5-1.

The Mustangs’ Maddie Morrow scores the first goal of the game at 35:44.

West Perry’s Camryn Smeigh made it 2-0 with her first goal at 38:52.

Serenity Hill posted an unassisted goal at 49:39, upping the lead to 3-1.

Mifflin County cut into the Mustangs lead when Aubrey Strohecker picked up a pass from Lily Yoder at 53:03.

But the Mustangs put the game on ice when Lillie Horn and Tayler Sanno with goals at 53:56 and 63:40.

Both teams tallied 12 shots each and both had a Corner each.

Mifflin County goalie Bailey McNitt tallied seven saves while West Perry had 11.

In JV action, West Perry won 1-0.
