Clinton County Motor Speedway Putting Finishing Touches On 2019 Racing Season

Lock Haven, PA- Clinton County Motor Speedway officials continue to prepare for the 2019 racing season. Racers can expect an announcement about season plans shortly!

 

Promoter Sam Ray has the 3/8th mile oval resurfaced after additional clay was placed on the track before winter. Race Director Steve Campbell has created an excellent schedule which could see additional tweak’s as the season progresses. Speedway personnel are busy resigning sponsors and seeking new ones to continue to improve the weekly show. An announcement is expected soon concerning progress in that area.

 

The track is ready for a practice session allowing racers to shake down their cars on Friday April 5.Opening night is one week later on Friday April 12 at 7:30. The evenings events include the limited late models, IMCA Sprint Cars, pro stocks, 600 & 270 micro sprints. The same program will be utilized April 19.

 

The final race of April has a slightly different look. The 600 micro sprints have their first night off this season replaced by the 4 cyl. stock cars.

 

Reserved pit stalls remain on sale by contacting Office Manager Denise Campbell at 752 Sunbury Road, Danville, PA., 17841. Cost of reserved pit stalls is $ 100. each.
