Cubbison, Bickhart lead the way in win over Juniata

LEWISTOWN – Mifflin County’s girls soccer team welcomed Juniata to the “Dawg Pound” Wednesday afternoon and played the role of the unfriendly host, defeating the Indians 4-0. 

Kylee Cubbison and Jessica Bickhart led the way with two goals each. Cubbison and Bickhart also had an assist in the win. 

Cubbison had the lone goal in the 1st half at 22:27, giving the Huskies a 1-0 advantage going into the second half. 

In the second, 

Bickhart led things off as she scored at the 22:00, upping the score to 2-0. 

Bickhart again scored. This time she scored at 17:15 on a pass from Cubbison.

Cubbison scored at 14:40 off a pass from Bickhart.

Mifflin County led in shots on goal by a 11-7. 

The Lady Huskies also led in Corners by a 4-3 margin. 

Kali Foltz in the goal for JHS had six saves. Alyssa Schnell for Mifflin County had seven saves.

Juniata is now 11-7. We will be heading for district play. Next game TBD.
