Juniata girls roll over Millersburg

Juniata girls 61, Millersburg 26

The Juniata girls offense had it’s A-game going Tuesday night as it took it to Millersburg 61-26.

Leading the way offensively for the Indians were Mahlin Kint who posted a game-high 16 while teammate Mackenzie Bennett who chipped in with 10.

In the opening period, Juniata took a 14-7 lead. Juniata got four from Chloe Zendt and Bennett.

Things continued to roll as it outscored Millersburg 13-7, taking a 27-14 advantage into the intermission. Rowe Shepps led the way with four.

Defensively, Juniata clamped down even harder in the second half while its offense continued to put points on the board.

In the third, the Lady Indians continued with a 21-4 effort, giving themselves a 48-18 advantage.

In the final stanza, the Indians round out the scoring 13-8 en route to the win.
