MC golfer Weader finished second at D6 championship

Day 2 of the District 6 golf Championships at Scotch Valley Country Club in Hollidaysburg. Zack Weader shot a 95 on the day to finish 6th overall in District 6 at the AAA level. The top 2 golfers advanced to regionals next week. For Zack, a senior, this was a fantastic finish to his high school golfing career. The course setup was tough today, with lots of hard pin placements. It was a very windy day today as well. The wind made a difficult course even harder. So to finish 6th in the district is a great accomplishment that he is can be proud of. MC still has Kolbi Knode to compete in the girls District 6 golf tournament on Monday 10/9 and Tuesday 10/10 at Summit Country Club.
