Mifflin County Junior High continues to shine

When you’re hot you’re hot.
The Mifflin County Junior High Varsity team once again came out on the winning end.
This time “The purple and Black Attack” defeated Big Springs 5-1.
Mifflin County had 12 shots on goal while goalie Bailey McNitt snagged five saves.
​Maddie Finkenbiner scores the first for MC as she was assisted by Kylee Cubbison​.
A​ubrey Strohecker, who tallied another hat trick, ​followed with an un​assiste​d​ goal, making it 2-0.
​Lily Yoder followed with an unassisted​ goal of her own.
Strohecker ​once again got an un​assiste​d​ goal to put the game on ice, upping the MC lead to 4-0.
Strohecker​ finished off the scoring as she was assisted by Kylee Cubbison​. For Cubbison it was her second assist of the game.
Defensively, Mifflin County allowed only five shots as it saved seven.​

​JR HIGH JV
In the Junior High JV game, Mifflin County held onto a win in nail biting fashion defeating Big Spring 2-1.
Mifflin County tallied 10 shots.
Goalkeeper Sadie Fike collected three saves.
Mifflin County got goals from Morgan Breon and Elise Wagner.
